Galarneau Advances in Main Draw

CARY, N.C. – Action continued for the Pack at the ITA Carolina Regional at the Cary Tennis Park. The NC State men's tennis team advanced Alexis Galarneau to the round of 16 main draw and competed in doubles action.
Highlights:
Galarneau won his third match in a row with a straight set 6-4, 6-3 win in the Round of 32 against Elon's Felipe Osses-Koning. The win advances him to the round of 16 for a match against No. 2 overall seed and No. 5 in the ITA Ronnie Schneider of North Carolina.
In the doubles draw, Nick Horton and Michael Ogden moved onto the second round in the main draw with a hard fought 6-3, 5-7, 1-0(0) win over Sebastian Schneider and Zac Talic of Coastal. The duo fell to UNC's Josh Peck and Ronnie Schneider 7-6(2), 6-3 in the second round.
