NC State-Pitt CC Fall Softball Doubleheader Canceled

RALEIGH, N.C. – Due to flooding around the Greenville area and an inability to travel, NC State's fall softball doubleheader slated for Thursday afternoon against Pitt Community College has been canceled and no makeup date has been scheduled.

Road conditions near the Pitt CC campus have not improved significantly enough from Hurricane Matthew to allow for a safe commute to Raleigh.

NC State will now open its fall schedule against Elon Friday, Oct. 14 at Dail Stadium. First pitch of the twin bill is slated for 4:30 p.m.
