Raleigh, N.C. -Â 10 PackPros played during NFL's Week 5. Take a look at their game stats and highlights:
Philip Rivers completed 21-of-30 passes for the San Diego Chargers, scoring four touchdowns along the way. The Chargers fell to the Oakland Raiders in a close game, 31-34. The Raiders were helped by defensive PackPro David Amerson, who had three tackles as cornerback. Amerson now has 166 career tackles in his four years of NFL football, 22 from this season so far.
T.Y. McGill had one sack for the Indianapolis Colts on their way to a 29-23 victory over the Chicago Bears.Â
Audie Cole had one tackle for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The PackPro helped the Vikings remain undefeated, securing their fifth victory of the season by taking down the Huston Texans, 31-13. The Vikings currently sit in the first position on the NFL's Week 6 Power Rankings. This marks the first time ever the Vikings have topped the NFL's list.Â
Rookie Juston Burris had a strong game for the New York Jets, with four tackles. Despite Burris' strong defense, the Jets fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 13-31.
Willie Young had a huge game for the Chicago Bears. The linebacker had four solo tackles, one assist, and three sacks against Indianapolis Colts' quarterback, Andrew Luck. Despite Young's strong game, the Bears fell to the Colts, 23-29. Ted Larsen also found playing time for the Bears, as center.Â
New England's Joe Thuney has continued to find playing time as a rookie this season, starting at guard for the Patriots with consistent performances on the field. The Patriots recently traded guard Jonathon Cooper, which makes Thuney's future with the Patriots seem promising.
Stephen Tulloch returned to Ford Field for the first time since being released by the Detroit Lions earlier this year. Tulloch played against his old teammates as part of the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive line. The Eagles fell to the Lions in a close game, 23-24.Â
Mario Williams defended the Miami Dolphins on Sunday as a starting defensive end, but the team still feel short to the Tennessee Titans, 17-30. Â So far this season, Williams has seven tackles and one sack.
After starting two games for the Patriots, Jacoby Brissett has been placed on Injured Reserve for a thumb injury, ending his regular season playing time. Brissett found playing time during all four preseason games, as well as three regular season games--Brissett threw for 787 yards, and scored one touchdown in that time. Now that Tom Brady's four-game suspension has been completed, he is expected to finish the season as the team's quarterback.
Teammates Russell Wilson and Steven Hauschka had a bye this week, but will be back in action against the Atlanta Falcons Sunday, October 16 at 4:25.
