Scoring 22 and 21 points in the 3OT win at Pittsburgh, respecÂtively, Miah Spencer and Dominique Wilson became the first two players to score 20+ points each in a single game since the same duo (Wilson 24, Spencer 21) combined to score 45 in a January 8, 2015 win over Virginia Tech.
Â
REBOUND DOMINANCE
Jennifer Mathurin pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds in the 3OT win at Pittsburgh on January 10. In doing so, she became the first Wolfpack player to record 15+ rebounds since Kody Burke grabbed 16 in an ACC Tournament win over Syracuse on March 6, 2014. In the game at Pittsburgh, Mathurin's defensive rebounding total (9) alone was higher than the combined rebounding totals of 17 of 19 players.
Â
PASSES ALL AROUND
Junior guard Miah Spencer has dished out 92 assists this season (5.4 per game). In nine games, she has recorded six or more. Should she keep up this pace, Spencer would end the season with the highest number of assists per game since Krissy Kuziemski dished out 5.3 per game in 1992-93.
