Frantova Advances to Final Round of Qualifiers at ITF Charleston 10K

Martina Frantova will advance to the final round of singles qualifying draws at the ITF Charleston 10K tournament

CHARLESTON, S.C – The Wolfpack completed day two of play at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Charleston 10K on Monday.

Martina Frantova earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory over her round two opponent, Nicolin Luecke (GER) on Monday and will advance to the final round of singles qualifiers. In the round prior, Frantova earned her advance following a 6-0, 6-0 defeat of Dewonder Davis (USA) on Sunday.

Bianca Moldovan resumed play on Monday in a first round qualifying draw that was abandoned due to weather on Sunday. Moldovan fell 7-5, 6-3 to Lindsay Song (USA).

Frantova will continue play at the ITF Charleston 10K on Tuesday with a final singles qualifying match.
