No. 22 NC State men's soccer hosts Gardner-Webb on Tuesday night at Dail Soccer Stadium, kickoff set for 7 PM.
- Last week Caleb Duvernay earned the ACC's Defensive Player of the Week award on the same day #PackFooty dispatched Wofford 2-1 at home. Goals from Julius Duchscherer and Yanni Hachem did the damage, setting the stage for Friday's collision at No. 6 Virginia.
- In a battle of two nationally-ranked sides, No. 20 NC State fell 1-0 at No. 6 Virginia on Friday. A hard-fought contest saw just seven total shots. The Wolfpack generated seven corners to none for the Cavaliers, and were whistled for 24 fouls to 11 for the home team.
- State slipped to No. 22 in the Top Drawer Soccer Top 25, released Monday afternoon.
