Iyevbele Resets School Record at USATF Outdoors

She records a time of 2:02.43 at the USATF Championships
EUGENE, Ore. - For the second time in two weeks, Kenyetta Iyevbele reset the 800m school record. The Charlotte, N.C., native recorded a time of 2:02.43 in the senior women's 800m semifinals at the USATF Outdoor Championships.
800m:
Iyevbele shaved .58 off of her previous school record as she finished 13th in the senior women's 800m run. This is the third time this season that she has reset her own school record. Ever since she originally set the school record during her freshman season, Iyevbele has held it for the duration of her NC State track and field career.
Once again, Iyevebele was in the faster heat of the night, as the top four runners in her heat swept the top four spots in the overall event.
100m:
In junior championships action, Quashawn Cunningham took ninth in the first round of the junior men's 100m dash. Cunningham competed for his first time since the Virginia Challenge on April 17th.
He was just .01 of a second from qualifying for the final round, but posted the second-highest mark of the season, crossing the finish line in 10.62.
