Great Danes Ready to Make Splash at Danish Nationals

The five-day competition will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark
RALEIGH, N.C.- Danish natives Soren Dahl, Anton Ipsen and Andreas Schiellerup of the NC State men's swimming and diving team will begin competition at the Danish National Championships July 4-8 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dahl, a junior from Copenhagen, Denmark, is set to compete in the 50m and 100m butterfly as well as the 50m and 200m freestyle.
He has been selected to represent his home country later this month at the World Championships in Kazan, Russia, which begins July 24.Â
Ipsen, a sophomore from Birkerod, Denmark, is slated to compete in the 200m, 400m, 800m and 1,500m freestyle, as well as the 400 individual medley. The distance specialist is ranked as the top seed in four of his five events.Â
Schiellerup, a junior who also hails from Birkerod, will swim the 50 and 100m freestyle, 50m and 100m backstroke and 50m butterfly.Â
