RALEIGH - The NC State track and field team is heading to Durham, N.C., for the Duke Twilight -- the final regular-season meet of the season. The Wolfpack will aim for Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship qualifying marks and regional top-48 marks in its last meet before post-season competition begins.
Competition is slated for Wednesday and Thursday and features several teams including in-state rivals UNC-CH and Duke. The Wolfpack will send a full team to compete.
This marks the second visit to Duke's Morris Williams Stadium this season. In the previous visit, several Wolfpack sprinters and mid-distance runners earned ACC Championships qualifying marks.
What's On the Line?
The last regular season meet serves as the final chance for Wolfpack competitors to gain conference-qualifying marks. Several NC State athletes will look to improve their marks and keep competing this season.
Last Time Out:
NC State sent groups to the Payton Jordan Invitational in Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif. and the App State Invite, in Boone, N.C. The distance runners excelled in both locations, earning a host of top-10 finishes. Joshua Davis also had a strong meet, earning two first-place finishes in Boone.
