Sixteen Wolfpack Athletes Selected to Compete at NCAA East Preliminary

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Wolfpack will send 16 athletes to compete at the 2015 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Preliminary Championships competition, as announced by The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee.
NC State sends 11 women with 15 qualifying marks and five men with seven qualifying marks to the competition. Six of the Pack's entries are competing in multiple events, while 11 of the athletes are returning to the competition. 
Tremanisha Taylor, Joanna Thompson and Kenyetta Iyevbele lead the team with four appearances in the competition. Graham Crawford and SeQuoia Watkins are making their third visit to the regional.
The East Preliminary will be held May 28-30 at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.
The qualifiers (top 12) out of these regions will compete in the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon.
