RALEIGH, N.C. -- The NC State softball team will conclude its regular season slate on Saturday when it travels to Boone, N.C., for a doubleheader against Appalachian State. First pitch of the twin bill is slated for 1 p.m. at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium.
The Wolfpack enters the weekend with a 32-19 record on the season, while the Mountaineers have a mark of 14-33.
NC State and Appalachian State have met five times in the history of the two programs, with the Wolfpack owning a 4-1 advantage in the series. Saturday's trip to Boone will be the first for the Pack, as the previous matchups have been at home or a neutral site.

Last Time Out
In its last outing of the season, NC State earned a 13-4 run-rule victory at Virginia Tech to complete the series sweep. It was the Pack's first sweep in Blacksburg since 2005.
