Women's Tennis Drops Weekend Matchup to No. 19 Clemson

RALEIGH, NC. - The NC State women's tennis team fell to No. 19 Clemson, 7-0, in its eighth conference match of the season inside J.W. Isenhour Center on Sunday afternoon.
As the end of the season looms, the Pack moves 9-10 (0-8 ACC), while the Clemson Tigers improve to 11-7 (6-3 ACC) on the season.

Match Highlights
NC State's Joanna Nalborska and Liza Fieldsend each forced their singles matches to third sets. Both players battled back after dropping their first sets, but fell in the third set to their respective oppoents.
Nalborska dropped a tough 6-4 third set to the Tigers' Joana Eidukonyte on court one, while Fieldsend lost a hard-fought 6-4 third set to Beatrice Gumulya on court No. 2.
Tayla Stenta also rallied back in her second set on the sixth court to Yuilynn Miao, but dropped a 10-4 tiebreaker in set three.

NC State will host Boston College at J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. Competition is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
