RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb was named ACC Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week after his performance in the Wolfpack's 24-8 win at Boston College this past weekend.
Chubb led the Wolfpack with nine tackles in Saturday's win, helping the defense hold the Eagles to just 28 net rushing yards as NC State clinched bowl game eligibility. Chubb tallied five tackles for a loss of 20 yards. The five tackles for loss tied as the fourth-best single-game mark in school history. His effort included two sacks for a loss of 12 yards (a career high), as well as a forced fumble.
The Pack will be back on the road this weekend, traveling to Florida State for the final road contest of the season. Yesterday, the ACC announced the kickoff time will be 12:30 p.m., and televised by the ACC Network for the second straight week.
