The NC State women's tennis team is set to conclude the fall tournament season at the USTA Clay Court Invitational in Orlando
SCHEDULE | ESPN3 (Thursday) | ESPN 3 (Sunday)
Â
RALEIGH – The NC State women's tennis team will finish off its 2015 fall season this weekend at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Clay Court Invitational in Orlando, Fla. Tournament play will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World as well as the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress beginning Nov. 5.
Â
All eight from the Wolfpack roster will face opponents from a slate of 15 teams, five of which are listed in the top 40 in the ITA rankings.
Â
The tournament features 31 ranked players, including NC State's Joanna Nalborska who is ranked No. 116 in the ITA singles rankings.
Â
Frantova has impressed in her first season with the Wolfpack. She owns a team-best 12-3 singles record that includes a 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 victory over No. 79 Elena Cerezo-Codina of Virginia Tech, a ranked opponent also set to compete at the USTA Clay Court Invitational.
Â
Another Pack player heading into the weekend's competition with an impressive performance in her first collegiate season is freshman Amanda Rebol. She netted a victory over the No. 84 nationally ranked player and advanced to the quarterfinal round during her most recent tournament action at the ITA Carolina's Regional.

SIMON SAYS
"Coming into the last tournament of the fall I think we have a little momentum from the ITA Regional however it would be a mistake to take that for granted. The ITA Regional showed that some of the things we have been working on did and can have an impact. Hopefully this event will continue that progression. It goes without saying that a strong finish would be desirable but no matter what, we need to see this as another opportunity to extract the maximum possible out of each match and situation in order to continue gaining experience. Clearly there is a premium on successful experience. Yet, as long as we compete and try to do what we can in the right way, this will be a positive conclusion to the fall season for the program." – Simon Earnshaw, head coach
Â
Play at the USTA Clay Court Invitational will begin with first round singles and doubles match-ups scheduled from 8 a.m. through 4:45 p.m. at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Â
The first and final days of the tournament (Thursday and Sunday) will stream live on ESPN3. Links to the live feeds, schedule of events, tournament draws and photos are available on the Tournament Central page.
