Wolfpack Begins Cancun Challenge Thursday

CANCUN – Off to a 5-0 start for the second time in head coach Wes Moore's three years at the helm of the program, the NC State women's basketball team begins play at the 2015 Cancun Challenge this week. NC State will take on Seton Hall Thursday evening before ending tournament play against UAB on Friday.

Both of NC State's games will be played in the ballroom at the Hard Rock Hotel Riveria Maya. The games will be streamed live on YouTube and can also be followed on WKNC 88.1 FM.

-Be the 825th and 826th wins in program history
-Be the 607th and 608th wins (606-192) of head coach Wes Moore's career
-Be Moore's 49th and 50th wins (48-23) at NC State

-The Pirates have picked up big wins this season over Rutgers (77-49), Princeton (71-64), and Saint Joseph's (66-54).
-Seton Hall was selected to finish fifth in the Big East this season.
