@PackWrestle Wins Both Bouts at NWCA All-Star Classic

ATLANTA, GA. - The NC State wrestling team got its 2015-16 season started on a positive note, as both Wolfpack wrestlers competing at the 2015 All-Star Classic brought home wins from Atlanta on Sunday.
After just accepting the invitation on Thursday night to attend, junior Max Rohskopf scored a 9-2 win at 165 pounds over Oklahoma's Clark Glass. After a scoreless first period, Rohskopf started the second period on top and scored a four-point near-fall to take a 4-1 lead into the third. After his escape, Rohskopf scored a takedown (three points using experiemental rules) and secured the extra ride-time point and came away with a 9-2 win.
Redshirt-sophomore Chad Pyke competed earlier in the day as a 'local feature'. Wrestling against University of Tennessee at Chattanooga redshirt-freshman Kamaal Shakur, Pyke fell behind 6-2 after the first period. But Pyke closed out strong, scoring the final five points of the bout and scoring a 7-6 win in his home state.
The Wolfpack will be in its first action of the year this Thursday afternoon, as the Pack will host its annual wrestle-offs in NC State's Brickyard at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
