Men’s Tennis To Host NC State Invite

Draws
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's tennis team welcomes 11 teams to the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center Friday through Sunday for the NC State Invite. The fall tournament features three singles and three doubles draws. This is the team's third tournament of the fall season.
Schedule:
The tournament runs Friday through Sunday. Matches will start at 8:30 a.m. each day with matches running on all 10 courts until completion. Each day's updated match times will be in the draws.
Wolfpack Dubs:
NC State will cycle out its doubles teams for this tournament, pairing together two new duos. Ian Dempster and Michel Ogden as well as Chris Mikrovas and Shoti Meparidze will make doubles team debuts on Friday.
Wolfpack Singles:
In singles action, Meparidze and Dempster will play in the red draw, Mikrovas will make his collegiate debut in the white draw and Ogden will compete in the grey draw. Meparidze leads the group with five singles wins this fall.
Last Time Out:
The 41st-ranked duo of Dempster and Nick Horton is coming off a 2015 ITA Carolina Regional Doubles Title. The juniors took the doubles tournament by storm, amassing a 5-0 record with three straight-set wins.
