Gott Said It: "First off, I'm really proud of my team. They responded very well. They had two great days of practice and they are learning. It was a step game. We took one step forward and we are learning how you have to play. We are learning how committed you have to be to play defense and this afternoon I thought we did a lot of things well. Starting off with our defense, I think we moved our feet well and we protected the rim. We helped each other out and communicated much better. We had a lot of energy and intensity. I thought that was the biggest factor for our team in the game today."
Up Next: NC State will travel to Charlottesville, Va., on Wednesday, Jan. 7 to take on the No. 3 Cavaliers. The Pack's first ACC road game will start at 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN2.
