Wolfpack Men Back in Top 10 of National Polls

RALEIGH, N.C.- After sitting at No. 17 in the middle portion of its 2014-15 season, the NC State men’s swimming and diving team has pushed its way back into the top 10 of the national polls, sitting at No. 8 in the latest CSCAA NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Rankings, released Jan. 22.
Outside of its No. 17 ranking in December, the squad has remained in the top 10 of the polls throughout the season.

Dec. 11- No. 17
Nov. 25- No. 10
Nov. 13- No. 6
Oct. 30- No. 3
In the latest poll, the Pack is the second-highest ranked ACC squad behind No. 6 Louisville. Two more ACC teams rank among the top 25 with NC State and Lousiville, as Virginia Tech checks in at No. 15, followed by UNC-Chapel Hill at No. 20.
Georgia Tech and Virginia are currently receiving votes.
Looking ahead to its final two dual meets, NC State sits higher than both its opponents in the national polls. The Wolfpack will host No. 23 Minnesota on Jan. 23-24, and complete the dual meet portion of its season hosting UNC-Chapel Hill on Jan. 31.
