Marchand's Surge Helps Canada Hold World Am Lead

KARUIZAWA, Japan - Brittany Marchand carded a round of 3-under 69 to help Team Canada in the third round of the World Team Amateur Championship. Team Canada, with Marchand and Augusta James, leads the tournament by two shots over Team Korea.
Marchand (71-70-69--210) combined with Canadian teammate Brooke Henderson for a 9-under 135 to retain the team lead. Henderson (66-69-66--201) is the leading individual.
James (69-76-72--217) carded an even 72. Under the tournament format, the top two scores for each team are counted.
Trailing Canada (409) and Korea (411) are Japan (415), Australia (416) and Spain (417), respectively.
