Wolfpack Women Ranked No. 21 in Final USA Today Poll

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women’s basketball team finished the year ranked No. 21 in the final USA Today top-25 poll, which was released Wednesday afternoon. The Wolfpack finished the year with a 25-8 mark, reached the semifinals of the ACC Tournament, and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
After starting the season unranked, NC State entered the national rankings on Jan. 6 and spent the final 12 weeks of the season ranked in the polls.
Memorable highlights from 2013-14:
Top 25 RPI.
Fourth place finish in the ACC despite preseason prediction of 10th.
First Associated Press top-10 ranking since 2001.
Four wins over AP top-20 teams.
10 wins over top-100 RPI teams.
13-2 nonconference record.
14-2 record at home.
