The Pack is now 6-0 all-time when Freeman gets 10 or more rebounds. Trevor Lacey scored 15 points and added six assists. State was also dangerous in transition, outscoring Wake 21-10 on the fast break.

Gott Said It: "It was a good win for our team. I thought as the game progressed we got better. We started really slow, turned the ball over a few times and just seemed to be out of sorts offensively. Then, I thought we settled in and finished off the second half pretty well. In the second half, our energy defensively was a lot better. We turned that into some fast breaks that were really important for us. We executed our offence a lot better in the second half. We got good shots and the right shots. We are a good team, but we are still learning a lot. We are nowhere near where I think we can be. It is nice to get an ACC win here and do it on a night that we started so sluggishly. It was good for our guys."
Wake Forest Head Coach Danny Manning: "NC State came out and played well tonight and it was a tale of two halves for us. They came out and made some big shots in the second half and we can't have that happen against us in the second half. They are a very talented team and they had some guys come out and do some good things for them tonight."
Up Next: NC State will play its next two games in Reynolds Coliseum. The Pack hosts Charleston Southern Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. NCAA tournament team Wofford comes to Reynolds Sunday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m.
On The Tube: The Mark Gottfried Show will air for the first time this season Sunday, Dec. 7 at 11:30 p.m. ET. Wolfpack fans can find the coach's show, hosted by Tony Haynes, on WRAL-TV.
