Second-Half Rally Leads Wolfpack Past Bulldogs 73-65

The NC State men's basketball overcame a sluggish start to defeat Louisiana Tech 73-65. Strong second-half performances from Trevor Lacey and Kyle Washington helped the Wolfpack secure its 10th win of the season and improve to 10-3 overall. The 49 points scored in the second half is the highest-scoring half the Pack has had this season.
Lacey finished with 20 points and five rebounds. Thirteen of his 20 points came in the game's final 12 minutes. After going scoreless in the first half, Washington scored 11 points and finished with 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and second of his career. Anthony 'Cat' Barber added 17 points and six rebounds.

Turning Point: With 14:11 remaining in the game and NC State trailing 50-32, State went on an 18-2 run to pull the game within two points. During the run, State spread out the ball and five different players scored. The Bulldogs pushed the led back out to six, but the Wolfpack responded with a 12-2 run to take control of the game. In the final 7:47, the Pack held LA Tech to 0-for-8 shooting from the floor and forced three turnovers. The Pack hit their free throws late, going 8-9 from the line in the final 4:26 of the game.
