Softball Concludes Fall Slate at Home This Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State softball team will conclude its eight-game fall schedule this weekend when it hosts the Elon Phoenix on Friday and Pitt Community College on Saturday. Friday’s doubleheader is set to begin at 5 p.m., while Sunday’s twin bill will start at noon.

The Wolfpack opened its fall slate last weekend with four shutout wins, winning both games of doubleheader at Longwood and at home against Campbell. State received stellar pitching all weekend and senior Emily Weiman and freshman Harli Hubbard combined to throw a no-hitter in the second game at Longwood.

All four games will be held at Dail Softball Stadium on the NC State campus. Admission is free.
