Men's Golf Adds Spring Tournament to Schedule

RALEIGH – The NC State men’s golf team has added the 2015 General Jim Hackler Championship to its spring schedule, the program announced recently. The 15-team tournament is hosted by Coastal Carolina University at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on March 9-10.
The Dunes Course is a Robert Trent Jones signature course and has a rating of 76.1. The course features a very special hole 13, “Waterloo” which is recognized as one of the greatest golf holes in the world.

On day one, teams will tee off at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Teams will play two rounds on the first day of competition. On day two, teams will tee off at 9 a.m. for the third and final round. An awards ceremony will follow after the third round.
The General Jim Hackler Championship is one stop of many on the Wolfpack’s spring tour. After this tournament, the Pack will travel to Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., for the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular (March 14-15).
