Bilis Advances to the 200 Free Semis at WUG

KAZAN, RUSSIA - NC State sophomore swimmer Simonas Bilis advanced to the semifinals of the 200 freestyle at the 2013 World University Games Thursday morning.
Bilis recorded a career-best time of 1:50.48 to finish first in his preliminary heat and claim a spot in the semifinals. The semifinals of the event will be held Thursday evening.
The preliminary heats can be seen on ESPN3/Watch ESPN at 11 a.m. (ET) Thursday, July 11.
