Men's Golf Ends Season at NCAA Regionals

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The NC State men's golf team had its season come to an end on Saturday after finishing ninth at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional at Golden Eagle Country Club.
The top-five teams move on to the NCAA Championship next week in Atlanta, Ga. The Wolfpack shot a final-round score of 4-over 292 on Saturday, and finished the 54-hole event at 10-over 874 at the par-72, 6,965-yard course.
Freshman Carter Page capped his first season with NC State by firing a 4-under 68, his low round of the season. Page wound up tied for 32nd at 1-over 217.
Junior Logan Harrell, who led the Pack through 36 holes, shot a 3-over 75 today to tie Page at 217 for the tournament.
Junior Albin Choi shot 4-over 76 in what ends up being his final round as a member of the Wolfpack. He tied for 54th at 7-over 223. The All-American from Toronto, Ontario has already announced that he will turn professional this summer.
Choi enjoyed one of the finest seasons in program history by winning five times, the most among all Division I men’s golfers
Senior Mitch Sutton also competed for the final time as a member of the Pack on Saturday. His third round 1-over 73 put him in a tie for 56th at 8-over 224.
Sophomore William Herring finished tied for 60th at 9-over 225.
North Florida, Washington, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma advance to the NCAA Championship, while Richmond's Daniel Walker also moves on as the top individual not on an advancing team.
Cheng-Tsung Pan (Washington) fired a third-straight 5-under 67 to earn medalist honors.
