NC STATE - TULANE SERIES HISTORY
Monday's game will serve as the first-ever meeting between NC State and Tulane.
FROM MANY, TO FEW
As of Nov. 21, a total of 66 NCAA Division I teams remained unbeaten during the 2013-14 season. Twenty of them (State included) are a perfect 4-0.
BENCH BUNCH
NC State's bench outscored its Morgan State counterpart by a 44-9 margin Nov. 18. Factoring in the three other games of the season, the Wolfpack bench has outscored opposing reserves by a 143-46 margin to begin 2013-14.
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE REYNOLDS
Since the program's first season in 1974-75, Reynolds Coliseum has served as a fortress for NC State. The Wolfpack has posted a home record of 407-121 (.771) in 39+ seasons in the historic facility.
ALWAYS IN FRONT
Through 160 minutes of basketball in the 2013-14 season, NC State has never once trailed. The Wolfpack has outscored its opponents 318-190 and has never played from behind.
JUDICIOUS IN POSSESSION
Junior point guard Len'Nique Brown has been very judicious in possession this season. Through the first four games of the year, she has dished out a team high 16 assists while committing just four turnovers.
MARGIN OF VICTORY
NC State has won its first four games of the season by an average of 32.0 points. The Wolfpack defeated both St. Bonaventure and Towson by 23 points, won by 40 over Presbyterian, and took down Morgan State by a 42-point margin.
MULTI-FACETED ATTACK
Through the first four games of the 2013-14 season, NC State has nine student-athletes who are averaging at least 5.0 points per game. Three of them (Markeisha Gatling, Kody Burke, and Breezy Williams) are averaging 8.0 points or more each outing.
PROLIFIC PLAY IN THE PAINT
NC State dominated Morgan State down low on Nov. 18. The Wolfpack scored more points in the paint (54) than the Bears did in total (52).
SECOND CHANCES
NC State scored 24 second-chance points against the Bears on Nov. 18. A large factor in this was the fact that the team collected 20 offensive rebounds, 13 of which came in the second half.
