Justin Walters Places Second at Portugal Masters

ALGARVE, Portugal - Former NC State men's golfer Justin Walters recently completed a fantastic weekend on the European Tour, placing second in the field of 126 golfers at the 2013 Portugal Masters at Oceanico Victoria Golf Course.
Walters finished just one stroke behind tournament-winner David Lynn, carding a four-round score of 267. The native of Johannesburg, South Africa, shot 69-63-69-66 at the event to end 17 strokes under par.
With the second-place finish, Walters earned ?222,220 in prize money.
Former Wolfpack men's golfers Mark Tullo and Garth Mulroy also placed quite well at the event, finishing tied for 38th and tied for 46th, respectively. Tullo shot 66-70-71-69 to end with a 276 (-8) while Mulroy carded scores of 70-69-68-70 to finish with a 277 (-7).
