Choi Named All-ACC For Second-Straight Season

GREENSBORO, N.C. – NC State sophomore Albin Choi was named to the 2012 All-ACC Men's Golf Team on Thursday, as selected by a vote of the league’s coaches.
From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Choi earns his second-straight seat on the all-conference team after earning Freshman of the Year honors in 2010-11.
Choi ranks 10th in the conference with a Wolfpack-best 72.11 scoring average. He earned his third career victory in the fall at the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C., and notched three top-6 finishes during the season. He also had a stretch of eight-consecutive top-16 finishes during his second campaign in Raleigh.
Choi and his teammates earned the No. 10 seed at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional and will take aim at the University of Michigan Golf Course May 17-19 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
