Softball to Put on Shoe Drive This Weekend

NC State softball will be putting on a shoe drive this weekend to benefit the Soles 4 Souls charity. During each of the Pack's three games versus Virginia Tech, there will be a collection bin at the entrance of Curtis and Jacqueline Dail Softball Stadium for gently used shoes.

The Pack will be collecting gently used shoes of all sizes and styles for Soles 4 Soles. Soles 4 Souls is non-profit organization that takes lightly worn shoes and distrubutes them to people in need.

In the past, Soles 4 Souls has sent shoes all over the globe to people in need, including U.S. soliders in Iraq and Afghanistan, Japanese affected by last year's tsunami and citizens along the Gulf Coast displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

All fans are encouraged to participate and help the Pack reach as many people as possible with shoes.
