RALEIGH, N.C. - Minus sophomore All-American Albin Choi, the NC State men's golf team will compete this weekend at the 33rd annual Schenkel Invitational Golf Tournament held Friday-Sunday, March 16-18 at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga.
Admission is free to the event that brings some of the nation's top collegiate golf teams.
The Wolfpack must fill the void left by Choi after injuring his wrist in practice this week. The Toronto, Canada, native has five top-20 finishes in six events this season.
The five-man lineup for State this weekend includes James Chapman, Chad Day, Andrew Decker, Mark McMillen and Mitchell Sutton.
Chapman and Decker will make their spring debuts for the Pack this weekend. Meanwhile, Day has played well in the last two events, posting a 72.5 scoring average, second only to Choi.
