
Women's Tennis Topped By Wisconsin

MADISON, Wisc. - No. 37 NC State was defeated by Wisconsin on Sunday at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium at the University of Wisconsin. The Wolfpack (3-4) was topped 6-1 by the Badgers (5-1).
Joelle Kissell and Ashley Miller, playing in the No. 1 doubles position, defeated the duo of Hannah Berner and Alaina Trgovich, 8-5, but Wisconsin won the next two doubles matches to claim the point.
Kissell, who is ranked No. 40 in singles, picked up her second win of the day, defeating Hannah Berner, 7-6 (10), 6-4. Kissell was the only NC State player to pick up a win in singles.
NC State will return home from a five-match road swing on Friday, Feb. 17, against USF. The competition will begin at 4 p.m. at the J.W. Isenhower Tennis Center.
