RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State plays its final non-conference home game of the regular season this Saturday against Presbyterian at 2 p.m., from Reynolds Coliseum. GoPack.com All-Access will provide a live video broadcast of the game.
As part of the Wolfpack basketball doubleheader on Saturday, fans may bring their men's basketball ticket vs. Norfolk State and receive free admission to the women's game. The men tip off at 7 p.m., at PNC Arena.
Saturday will be the annual Toy Drive to benefit Toys for Tots at Reynolds. All fans who bring a toy to be donated will receive free admission. And following the game, fans will have the opportunity to get their picture taken with "Santa Wuf".
Also a reminder that graduation ceremonies are taking place in various buildings around campus and may have an effect on parking for the basketball game.
With the fall exam week come-and-gone, the Wolfpack can turn its attention to a pair of games before the Christmas break, beginning with its tilt with the Blue Hose. NC State picked up a 74-27 victory over Presbyterian in 2010 in the only previous meeting between the two clubs.
NC State took home an 88-73 victory last Sunday against Elon to improve its record to 6-4. All five starters scored in double figures for the first time this year, led by a team-topping 14 points from sophomore Krystal Barrett.
NC State senior guard Marissa Kastanek needs one more three-pointer to enter the ACC's list of top-25 three-point shooters in league history. Her next bucket from beyond the arc will give her 191 in her career, third most in school history. The Lincoln, Neb., native is also creeping up the school's all-time scoring chart, and is a mere 12 points from jumping from 18th to 15th, passing Cristy Earnhardt (1976-79), Umeki Webb (1993-96) and Danyel Parker (1990-93) along the way.
State jumps into ACC play on Thursday at No. 21 Miami at 7 p.m., in Coral Gables, Fla. Due to construction on NC State's campus, the game will not be broadcast on WKNC 88.1 FM. However, NC State will provide a FREE broadcast of the game through GoPack.com All-Access.
