GREENSBORO, N.C. – NC State finished tied for fourth on Sunday at the Bridgestone Intercollegiate hosted by UNCG at Grandover Resort’s East Course.
The Wolfpack shot a final round 12-over 300 on Sunday, after starting the round in a tie for fifth. State finished the tournament at 22-over 886.
Junior Albin Choi fired his second 2-under 70 of the tournament on Sunday to finish tied for sixth at 2-under 214.
Senior Mitchell Sutton wrapped up his best tournament of the season to date with a 4-over 76 to place tied for 10th at 3-over 219.
Sophomore William Herring garnered his second-straight top-20 with a tied for 19th showing at 5-over 221.
Mississippi State won the team portion of the tournament at 3-under 861, followed by Chattanooga (865) and Iowa State (866). Virginia Tech, Ole Miss and NC State all tied for fourth.
Chris Robb (Chattanooga) won the individual title at 9-under 207, followed by Alex Boasson (Mississippi State) at 8-under 208. Two others tied for -4.
NC State rounds out its fall schedule at the Warrior Wave Princeville Intercollegiate Nov. 5-7 in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii.
