Baseball To Hold Walk-On Tryouts

Head coach Elliott Avent and the NC State coaching staff will hold walk-on tryouts at Doak Field at Dail Park on Sept. 7.

The NC State baseball team will hold walk-on tryouts on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 5 p.m. at Doak Field at Dail Park. This will be the only tryout for the 2012 baseball team, so anyone hoping to walk on with the team must be at the Sept. 7 tryout session.

Those wishing to try out must complete, in advance, a walk-on tryout form (click here to download). This form must be turned into the compliance office at the Weisiger-Brown Athletics Facility prior to Sept. 7.

Players wishing to try out should bring their own equipment, including bats, gloves and catcher’s gear.
