Boatwright Takes 2nd in Triple Jump

DURHAM, N.C. - Junior Kwame Boatwright of Durham was second in the men's triple jump with a personal best leap of 49-feet, 11 1/4-inches on the first day of action at the Duke Invitational at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Senior teammate Travis Weston was 15th in the event.
Sophomore Jazueline Daniels was third in the women's triple jump with a mark of 39-feet, 4 ½-inches. Sophomore Karimah Shepherd was ninth at 38-feet, 4 3/4-inches.
Sophomore James Robinson was eighth in the 400-meter high hurdles with a personal-best time of 54.56 seconds.
In the men's 200-meter developmental race, sophomore Daniel Fretz was second with a time of 22.15 seconds, with teammate Miles Walker close behind at 22.51 seconds.
