Swimming & Diving Announce 2011-12 Slate

RALEIGH, N.C. -
NC State head swimming and diving coach Brooks Teal announced today the program’s schedule for the 2011-12 season. As is always the case in the highly competitive ACC, the challenging schedule includes seven conference bouts, three regular season home meets and a trip to the Maryland Invitational.
“It’s always exciting to finalize our schedule and start looking forward to the next season,” said Teal. “We have a very challenging schedule, featuring several tough opponents and high-quality programs. We look forward to competing at a high level and having a great season.”
The Pack will hold its annual Red & White Scrimmage at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center on Friday, Oct. 7.
The regular season will begin the following week with a meet at Virginia Tech on Saturday, Oct. 15. NC State’s first home contest pits the Pack against Duke and the Savannah College of Art & Design on Saturday, Nov. 5. Other home meets include Campbell and College of Charleston (Nov. 12) and Clemson (Jan. 27).
The ACC Championships will be held in Christiansburg, Va., with women’s swimming and men’s and women’s diving running from Feb. 15-18, and men’s swimming scheduled for Feb. 22-25.
