Pack Hosts #25 VCU Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. --- 41st-ranked NC State women’s tennis takes on 25th-ranked VCU Saturday in Pullen Park beginning at 1 p.m.

The Pack (8-2, 1-1 ACC) will look to complete a perfect week after defeating 66th-ranked Winthrop 6-1 Wednesday in Hilton Head, S.C.

28th-ranked Sanaa Bhambri and 83rd-ranked Sandhya Nagaraj will lead the Wolfpack in singles play. One of NC State’s nationally-ranked singles will square off against VCU’s leading single Alex Bara, ranked 107th in the country.

Bhambri and Nagaraj form the 11th-ranked doubles team in the nation, as well. The pair enjoyed a break earlier this week as Lenka Hojckova and Tatiana Illova took over as the Pack’s number one tandem.
