Kingston Named ACC Performer of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State swimmer Brandon Kingston has been named ACC Performer of the Week as announced today by the conference office. A sophomore native of Ontario, Canada, Kingston competed in five individual events across two different meets last week, taking first place every single time.
Against No. 12 North Carolina, Kingston claimed both the 200 freestyle (1:40.31) and 500 freestyle (4:34.47), before placing first in three swims at Old Dominion, including the 1650 freestyle (1613.48), the 200 freestyle (1:41.11) and the 500 freestyle (4:37.98)
He has helped the NC State men build a 6-2 (3-2 ACC) record on the year thus far.
Kingston is the second Wolfpack swimmer to be named ACC Performer of the Week in the past month. Women's swimmer Julianna Prim took the honor on Jan. 18.
