KNOXVILLE, TENN. -- NC State diver Hudson Rains concluded his stay at the USA Winter National Championships and World Cup Trials on Tuesday. Rains placed 13th in the one-meter springboard. He scored a 342.35 in the quarterfinals.

The NC State swimming and diving teams will return to action on Jan. 14 against Florida State and Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. Competition will begin at 11 a.m.
