Men's Tennis Starts Weekend Action

Julian Sullivan picked up a win in singles play, and NC State got two victories in doubles action as the Wolfpack began its stay at the Duke Nike Fab Four in Cary, N.C., on Friday, Sept. 17. Sullivan topped NC Central's Andres Perez, 6-2, 6-1, in the section A round of 16, early in the evening.
Rafael Paez and Dave Thomson grabbed an 8-4 decision over Wake Forest's Danny Kreyman and Connor Sherwood in the doubles quarterfinals. Sullivan and Dominic Hodgson later topped Isade Juneau and Jeremy Langer of Indiana, 8-6, in consolation doubles after falling in the quarterfinals.
NC State will resume play tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Duke Nike Fab Four in Cary, N.C.
