McMillen Named to All-ACC Academic Team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Rising junior Mark McMillen of the NC State men’s golf team was named to the 2010 All-ACC Academic team announced today by the ACC.
To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during his academic career.
McMillen competed in 11 of the Pack’s 12 tournaments this past season. The 2009 North Carolina Amateur champion’s top finish on the season was 13th place at the General Hackler Tournament. McMillen fired a 70 in two separate rounds this year, including in the second round at the NCAA Regional Championship.
