Martinez Advances to NCAA Track Finals

Wolfpack senior John Martinez advanced to Friday's finals of the 3000 meter steeplechase today at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Martinez finished seventh in his semifinal heat with a time of 8:43.82, advancing to the finals on time.

Martinez earned All-America honors in the steeplechase in 2008.
