RALEIGH, N.C. – For the third straight year, NC State junior Matt Hill was named to the All-ACC men’s golf team, as selected by a vote of the league’s 11 coaches and announced on Wednesday. Hill is only the third golfer in NC State history to have won this honor three times, joining Kelly Mitchum (1991-93) and Tim Clark (1996-98).
On the 2009-10 season, Hill currently leads the Pack with a 72.5 stroke average in his 12 tournaments. Hill finished third at the ACC Championship, and earned medalist honors at the Hootie at Bull’s Bay Intercollegiate for the second time in his career.
The NC State men’s golf team is awaiting the announcement of the NCAA regional qualifying teams, which takes place this Monday.
