Lawson, Reese Compete at SeaRay Relays

Seniors Reggie Reese and Kayla Lawson represented the Wolfpack at the prestigious Sea Ray Relays on Friday, which were held at the University of Tennessee’s Tom Black Track.  Other members of the squad will compete at the Joe Hilton UNC Invitational tomorrow while some will be at Murray Neely Invitational at North Carolina A&T.

Reese, a Raleigh native, finished ninth out of a field of 39 competitors in the 100 meters.  His 10.60 clocking was the best non-wind-aided time he has posted all year.  Lawson tied for third in the high jump with a 1.70m (5’7”) mark.  That tied as her second-best jump of 2010.
