RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men’s golf team will host the 2010 Wolfpack Intercollegiate this weekend at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course located on NC State’s Centennial Campus. This year’s tournament will be played for the first time on the Pack’s brand-new par 71, 7,358 yard home course.

This year’s field features 17 teams, including nine of the 11 ACC schools. Eight of the teams in the field are currently ranked in the top-50 according to Golfstat.com’s adjusted scoring average: Florida State (12), Georgia Tech (13), Virginia (15), Wake Forest (29), Duke (30), NC State (35), Michigan (45), Virginia Tech (48). Rounding out the field is Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, East Carolina, Maryland, New Orleans, North Carolina, Purdue, UNCW, and VCU.
