Wolfpack Student-Athletes to compete at 116th Penn Relay Carnival

Several current and former members of the Wolfpack men’s and women’s track squads will compete Thursday and Friday at one of the oldest and longest-running track events in the world: The Penn Relay Carnival. The event will be held at historic Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
Sophomore Brittany McCain will compete in the college division of the discus throw tomorrow, while senior Kayla Lawson be in the college long jump on Friday.
On the men’s side, sophomore Andrew North will run in the college 5000 meters tomorrow night.
On Saturday afternoon, former Pack performers Bobby Mack and Stephen Furst will compete in the Olympic Development division of the mile run. Furst was the 2008 ACC Outdoor Champion in the 5000m and the 10,000 meters.
