Pack Concludes Action at ACC Championships

NC State boasted two ACC Champions, Lawanda Henry in the shot put and Ryan Hill in the 10,000 meters, two other All-ACC performers and several student-athletes who scored in their respective events at the 2010 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which concluded today in Clemson, S.C.
John Martinez and Kara McKenna were both All-ACC performers in the 3000 meter steeplechase, both finishing third. McKenna also finished ninth in the 5000 meters (17:20.84), while Martinez scored with an eighth-place finish in that same even on the men’s side, running 14:32.44.
Emily Pritt scored with a fifth-place finish in the 1500 meters (4:34.43) while Kayla Lawson scored swth a fifth-place jump of 1.74m in the high jump.
Kris Kornagay-Gober tied for second in the men’s long jump with a 6’10.25” mark, while Reggie Reese added points in the 100 meters, finishing eighth at 10.60.
