No. 40 M. Tennis Visits the Sunshine State

NC State Visits Sunshine State: No. 40 NC State travels to Florida to take on No. 22 Florida State on Friday, April 2 at 5:00 p.m and No. 51 Miami on Sunday, April 4 at noon.
The Series Versus FSU: This will be the 20th meeting between the Wolfpack and Seminoles. The two met last year, with FSU winning 6-1. The Pack last beat the Noles in 2005, winning 4-3.
The Series Versus Miami: This will be the 12 meeting between the Wolfpack and Hurricanes. The two met last year in the ACC Tournament with Miami pulling out a 4-3 win. The Pack last beat the Canes in 2007, winning 4-3.
Duke Tops Pack: No. 27 Duke took down the Wolfpack 6-1 on Wednesday, March 31. Dominic Hodgson upset No. 87 Dylan Arnould 6-3, 6-3 to get the Pack its lone point.
Pulgar Named ACC Player of the Week: Jaime Pulgar was honored as the ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for his performance against three conference foes. Pulgar’s big win was over No. 5 Guillermo Gomez of No. 29 Georgia Tech. Two days earlier he beat Carlos Alvarez of No. 33 Clemson. Pulgar’s week also included a pair of wins while teaming with Thomson in doubles - 8-5 over Clemson’s Alvarez and Juan Bolona, and 8-7 over Georgia Tech’s Gomez and Dean O’Brien.
